My idea for this series of images revolves around textures. Visually, the complex textures within the scenes I'm shooting is what originally caught my attention; however, the more I evaluate these images I've grown to appreciate textures more than for just visual appeal and instead am beginning to contemplate what the textures in the scenes say about the environment within which they sit.
